What Happens at Your New Patient Consultation

When you arrive, we want to make sure you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible in our dental practice. So, you will meet our welcoming reception staff, who will introduce you to your new dentist.

Your dentist will guide your through a thorough consultation, which will include:

• Speaking with you about your concerns and dental history
• Checking the health of your mouth, gums and teeth
• Taking x-rays where appropriate
• A digital 3d scan
• Formulation of a unique treatment plan for you

 

This initial consultation will take around 30 minutes.

Following this appointment, your dentist will provide you with feedback on your oral health. We will advise on any preventative measures and dental maintenance work that you may need.  We look to treat current issues and aim to minimise the need for future treatment. Where you do require active treatment our friendly staff can discuss with you the best options.
